Storm Flash Message From
Glendale Daily Planet / KKAT-IPTV

CITY OF GLENDALE OFFERS FREE
SAND BAGS
AS THIRD STORM MOVES IN

GLENDALE, Ariz. – As the Valley prepares itself for this evening’s storm, several residents are worried about possible flooding issues at their home. The City of Glendale is offering help. The City of Glendale has placed sand and sand bags at 3 locations throughout the city. Residents are welcome to bring a shovel and take sand bags for free to protect their home. Sand bags can be used in areas around the home that can potentially become flooded during a rain storm.

City of Glendale Sand Bag Locations:

·

·        Orangewood Park, located at 55th Avenue and Orangewood

·        Glendale Community Center, located at 59th Avenue and Hearn

·        Bonsal Park, located at 59th Avenue and Bethany Home Road

(Glendale Fire Station 156, located at 68th Avenue and Deer Valley is OUT and will not be restocking)

Thanks,

Ed Sharpe,
