FLAMENCO & SPANISH CULTURE FIELD TRIPS FOR SCHOOLS & CLUBS
Take your students on a bus ride to Spain – Spain in Tempe , that is! Flamenco!...the Studio, Valley Flamenco-arts studio located in The Spanish Cultural Center, will provide students a unique experience: to learn first-hand about the history and culture of Flamenco. Students will learn about the origins of this unique ethnic art from Flamenco historian and master Flamenco guitarist Ricardo de Cristóbal, and then learn Flamenco dance’s challenging technique from professional Flamenco dancer & instructor Linda Machado. Students will enjoy authentic tapas in a Flamenco café-style setting while enjoying a live Flamenco show and then will have an opportunity to participate in the show to experience first-hand the living art form of Flamenco.
