That's nice, Bill. I'm not sure what you said, but I am sure it is nice.
Everytime you post on the information super highway, Bill, expect a comment, your words are reaching anyone who has access to a computer and an ISP.
Possibly you overreacted too, because you do not live in this community and thus are not subject to any of its rules, regulations and FEES. Some of us are pretty sensitive right now to the topics I spoke of and after all, this forum has to do with the community of Sun City West.

"doggielover", I thought about the posts within this forum while having dinner.
I initiated the thread / post to provide information and a methodology to anyone wishing to expedite any reputable donation of cash for aiding the people of Haiti. You will note there was purposely no personal comment in the original post, just a weblink.
I expected no comment.
Your comment, to which I unfortunately responded, regarded not the unfortunate situation in an area geographically distant from Sun City West, AZ, but rather a post dealing with no social security COLA increase, a Sun City West pickle ball field, golf course care and watering and a Recreation Center fee. "I" considered the response inappropriate for this thread and reacted.
Freedom of speech is a right in this country and I should possibly be more sensitive to this right of others to speak their mind or place their thoughts on a variety of subjects. Last edited on Thu Jan 14th, 2010 11:55 pm by SunCityWestBill

Well, at least you admit you were a tad sensitive where there was not need to be, but ah, Bill, that's "you're" best ignored.

And, Bill, if I have the saddest story you have ever heard maybe you should read some of the stories coming out of Hati. You know, Hati, where you are telling us to send donations.

I know you did, Bill. So does every news channel one might possibly view, and all your email friends, and the social networking sites, and just everyone is bombarding us with safe places to make a contribution to the people of Hati. There is no shortage of links to make a contribution to the people of Hati.
No reason to get your undies bunched up. Geesh, you have such a thin skin.

Your story has touched my heart. Never before have I heard a story so sad as yours.
I just proposed a site where, if someone decided to donate to help the people in Haiti they could, with relative assurance the money would be in reputable hands to distribute. I do not think the people of Haiti really care about the pickle ball court or watering a golf course at the moment, then again it might be something to take their mind off dead family members, not eating and having no water.

Ah, yes. I'm bleeding. It's no social security increase for 2010 and 2011, and not not for 2012 and 2013 if ever. I'm donating, Bill, I'm donating.
The SCW recreation board better be taking heed and not making pickle ball courts for a select few, watering and caring for barely used golf courses, etc. because next year a lot of people aren't going to be able to afford the CURRENT $337 fee, let alone a "cost of living" increase. Obamer tells us there has been NO cost of loving increase and yet her our little community had a "cost of living' increase on it's fee.
